Chepe

The tour was absolutely amazing! Chepe walked us through the history of the town and Nicaragua in general! Walking through the streets of the center surrounded by colonial and neoclassical houses The tour also included a chocolate dégustation that was a lovely surprise! Chepe was very entertaining during a total of 3h even though he had been sick for 3 days! Thank you for your dedication

I wanted to get to know a bit about Granada, but a lot of the time was consumed by comparison with Costa Rica. I don’t need to know what they eat in Costa Rica, what their Slogan is where they got it from. Questions were rarely answered, or only after repeating it several times because the guide did not seem to listen to the questions but just replied something to the first key word he grabbed. He also said we couldn’t enter the church at the moment which was clearly not true as other tourists walked in (there was also a huge ‘welcome’ sign positioned outside). We left the tour after 45 minutes because we didn’t feel comfortable with the guide and we didn’t learn a lot. Worst free walking tour I did so far.

I enjoyed the tour a lot it was definitely worth the time. Enrique our guide was the total package, he informed, educated and entertained. You can tell he is extremely passionate about his city, country and history. He was very real and direct which may not be for everyone but I liked it. He spoke very good English and walked at a pace that was comfortable for everyone and would wait until we were all ready to move on to the next section. You really could ask him anything, no matter how serious or silly and we laughed a lot too, it was fun. I recommend anybody that's curious or bored to go for it. I'm glad I did.
