This was a good tour with some interesting information that aimed to balance the "formal" history taught at museums and on standard walking tours with some real-world stories and more esoteric or controversial subjects. However, I would say that the tour felt rushed, finishing promptly on time after 1:45, and there wasn't really time for going into questions from the group or delving more deeply into the variety of topics covered. I'd have preferred to skip the ice cream tasting and have more time for discussion!

Had an awesome time with Bruce as my food tour guide. He met us and took us on the local bus to outside the ultra-touristy area to local joints with delicious, Peruvian food. The food included local street food as well as Amazonian cuisine. Bruce was entertaining, passionate, very informative about the culture and history of Peru, and treated us like friends that he was showing around his neighbourhood - lots of places that you wouldn’t know to find as a gringo. Would recommend 100%
We really enjoyed the Lima Street Food Tour and were impressed by Bruce. He was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the food, Lima and South America in general. (Food, history, culture, agriculture, politics, ...) The whole tour felt very authentic and we learned a lot while eating extremely well 😊 Definitely one of our highlights in Lima. Thank you very much!
