The ice cream stop actually plays an important role in the structure of the tour. Since we explore many heavy or thought-provoking subjects, we intentionally include a lighter and more sensory moment to create balance, while also supporting what we genuinely believe is the best ice cream spots in Barranco. (BLU) At the same time, we completely understand your point. Many of the topics discussed could easily lead to another hour of debate, questions, and deeper discussion. In fact, part of our mission is not necessarily to give definitive answers, but to leave people with curiosity, questions, and motivation for their own reflection and research afterward. One challenge with group tours is that extended philosophical or political discussions may not be equally engaging for every participant, especially within a limited schedule. However, if you ever return to Lima, you could absolutely arrange a private experience with the guide focused more deeply on discussion, debate, and analysis of the themes mentioned, while also recognizing the additional time and preparation involved. Ironically, despite being a 4-star review, this may genuinely be one of the best compliments we have received so far, because it tells us you wanted even more from the experience.
