Hi folks!
My name is Alejandro and I am very proud to call León my home. I have been leading tours for almost ten years.
I consider myself a multifaceted individual with a passion for bridging cultures and sharing knowledge. As a tour guide and interpreter, you thrive on connecting people with new experiences and insights. My love for languages extends beyond mere communication; it's a gateway to understanding different perspectives and immersing yourself in diverse cultures. Outside of work, I find joy in the culinary arts, seeing cooking as another way to explore and appreciate different traditions.
My curiosity and enthusiasm for learning languages and exploring new cuisines have led me to believe tourism is about engaging and enriching life memories for ourselves and those around us by learning something new from a new place one day at the time.
Join one of my tours and learn about my beautiful city and country from a witty and knowledgeable point of view!
Amazing walk around Léon with Alejandro! Perfect English, very good storytelling and great knowledge of the history of Nicaragua and Léon. Time passed so quickly and I couldn’t believe it was already over. He was able to answer all my questions and provide us with additional information. I wholeheartedly recommend Alejandro for getting to know the city.
Alejandro was a fantastic guide! Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made learning about the history of Leon and Nicaragua fun and engaging. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you're new to the city and want to get your bearings and some excellent local recommendations! Thanks Alejandro!
Very nice tour, would recommend! Alejandro is relaxed, involved and really makes an effort to entertain the group. Seems like a person who has a passion for history and politics and uses the city to tell the stories about it, in a clear and fun way.
It was advertised that Alejandro was a PRO and would be leading the tour. He did not lead the tour and the tour was led by Marlon, an engineering student trying to earn some extra cash (my husband and I tipped him USD40 because of that). Marlon is 'passable' but definitely not a PRO. Watch out for last minute BAIT AND SWITCH email confirming your tour/trip is on but at the same time also asking you to check your messages on the booking website. Alejandro, shame on you. Marlon, don't be his accomplice.
