Hallo Leute! Mein Name ist Alejandro und ich bin sehr stolz, León mein Zuhause nennen zu können. Ich führe seit fast zehn Jahren Touren. Ich betrachte mich als vielseitigen Menschen mit einer Leidenschaft für das Überbrücken von Kulturen und das Teilen von Wissen. Als Reiseleiter und Dolmetscher blüht man auf, wenn man Menschen mit neuen Erfahrungen und Erkenntnissen verbindet. Meine Liebe zu Sprachen geht über die bloße Kommunikation hinaus; sie ist ein Tor zum Verständnis verschiedener Perspektiven und zum Eintauchen in unterschiedliche Kulturen. Außerhalb der Arbeit finde ich Freude an der Kochkunst und sehe Kochen als eine weitere Möglichkeit, verschiedene Traditionen zu erkunden und zu schätzen. Meine Neugier und Begeisterung für das Erlernen von Sprachen und das Entdecken neuer Küchen haben mich zu der Überzeugung gebracht, dass es beim Tourismus darum geht, Lebenserinnerungen für uns selbst und die Menschen um uns herum zu schaffen und zu bereichern, indem wir Tag für Tag etwas Neues an einem neuen Ort lernen. Amazing walk around Léon with Alejandro! Perfect English, very good storytelling and great knowledge of the history of Nicaragua and Léon. Time passed so quickly and I couldn’t believe it was already over. He was able to answer all my questions and provide us with additional information. I wholeheartedly recommend Alejandro for getting to know the city.
Alejandro was a fantastic guide! Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made learning about the history of Leon and Nicaragua fun and engaging. Very nice tour, would recommend! Alejandro is relaxed, involved and really makes an effort to entertain the group. Seems like a person who has a passion for history and politics and uses the city to tell the stories about it, in a clear and fun way.
It was advertised that Alejandro was a PRO and would be leading the tour. He did not lead the tour and the tour was led by Marlon, an engineering student trying to earn some extra cash (my husband and I tipped him USD40 because of that). Marlon is 'passable' but definitely not a PRO. Watch out for last minute BAIT AND SWITCH email confirming your tour/trip is on but at the same time also asking you to check your messages on the booking website. Alejandro, shame on you. Marlon, don't be his accomplice.
