Briefly, I am an independent tour ambassador for my home state Malacca, Malaysia. I am born and bred here and the historical belt of the city was my childhood playground. Over the years I have studied and learned on many historical subjects of my hometown. Veteran tour guides have given and shared plenty of their knowledge and advice.
I am passionate and eager to show tourists from around the world the heritage, culture, and history of Malacca, World Heritage and UNESCO city. There are so many amazing hidden and inside stories that I wish to share with anyone out there about Malacca.
I enjoy meeting and sharing chats with people from around the world and I have enjoyed every tour that I have given in the past and I intend to provide an interesting and most enjoyable experience to everyone.
“Selamat Datang ke Malacca”
meaning
“Welcome to Malacca.”

Great tour with Imrahn!
Visited Melaka couple of times in the past but this time decided to take a walking tour with a local from Guruwalk. We took the 3.30 pm tour. Melaka is a city entrenched in history with its Portuguese, Dutch, British, Malay, Chinese, Indian and Peranakan connects as it was one of the major trading ports of Asia. The city is a remarkable example of blended cultures- some having left a stronger influence than the others. Our guide Imrahn was born and raised in Melaka and knows the city inside-out. We thoroughly enjoyed his detailed descriptions as he walked us through the lanes of Melaka describing lifestyle and historic moments the city has witnessed. He also had interesting insights into architecture of different eras. From quaint shophouses to trader's mansions, landmarks , places of work and worship, the lifestyle of work smiths, coolies and rich traders Imrahn's tour had an interesting blend which was truly a tribute to the UNESCO city of Melaka. (Tip : Malaysia is a hot country, so be prepared with water bottles and hats. Imrahn is kind enough to assist in refilling water bottles at the historic hotels we visited.
We hadden a great time!
Imrahn is a really great guide. We have been in Melacca before, but he managed to surprise us in every way thinkable. His insight on historical development of many years back is interesting and gives new insight about this interesting city.
Imrahn was a great your guide. Very friendly, informative, and passionate about the city he grew up/lives in and calls home. Would definitely recommend.
