Tourstilla - Tour Guide in Madrid

Me encantó el tour, sobretodo por cómo lo contó Mihaela. Yo soy de Madrid de toda la vida y me gustó redescubrir mi ciudad. Además de ser una profesional excepcional, es una mente inquieta y nos dio muchos datos curiosos sobre el arte y la cultura en esa época y en el Madrid de hoy en día. Repetiré

Madrid was our last stop after Barcelona and Seville. My wife and I were pretty downbeat as we thought that Madrid didn’t have much to offer. Our tour guide David ‘Onion’ showed us how wrong we could be. Madrid turned out to have such a fascinating history, and I can tell you we remember everything because of David. He was full of life, showing us all the enthusiasm of someone who was conducting his first few tours - ironically not the case, as he had been doing this so passionately for 8 years. His knowledge of his country is astounding as he remembers all of the years, areas of interest and fun facts at the back of his hand. He took care of all of us as a group, consistently checking on us. From showing of his acting chops, his Flamenco singing and dancing; he even did a pop quiz at the end to ensure we all left with as much knowledge as possible (which is the point of the tour!). It was a joy to be part of David’s tour. We hope to be back one day doing another tour in Madrid, having David as our guide!
