My name is Thomas and I am from Denmark
I make guided tours because I can’t help it. Being a guide is not a job it’s a lifestyle.
I have been a tour guide since 2005 in many places in the world but my first destination was actually Sao Miguel. I fell instantly in love and decided back then that I would be back here someday.
Since then I have been doing free tours in Copenhagen, Madrid, Hamburg, Prague, and Aarhus. But now I’m back and call the Azores home.
Interesting and informative.
Thomas was very knowledgeable about the history of the island, its people and the places we visited. He made recommendations for places to visit that weren't on the tour in addition to restaurants in the downtown area.
