Very good guided walk of Ho Chi Minh city with Quan, who was very competent, and also a very nice guy. Lots of interesting facts and stories about the area and what we we were, and a comprehensive and interesting tour lasting about 2½ hours. We walked quite a bit, but for the final stop took a taxi as it was a little too far to walk. It was a very good tour, and I'd certainly recommend both the tour itself, which was really interesting and informative, and Quan as a guide, who I know offers other tours as well.

I got a message earlier in the day to say that as I was the only person booked into the tour, I needed to guarantee a payment of min. 30 USD. As I'm leaving HCMC in the morning I decided to go ahead, and I'm so glad I did. I'm a vegetarian, and I don't have a huge appetite, and Wade was so kind and considerate, negotiating smaller/cheaper portions so I could taste so many things. It was amazing to hear about his family's history and war experiences, and their lives now. The solo tour really was perfect and I'm very glad I did it.
