Hello. I am Ali. I am a tour guide for more than 10 years now.
I love this job and its a huge pleasure for me to meet with differrent peoples from every corner of the world, inorder to share different experiences, changing ideas and new innovations but not forget you will get the history of our beautiful Zanzibar.
Apart from being a certified tour guide by tourism authorities in Zanzibar. Ali is an environmental expart, bachelor degree holder on environmental planning and management but also diploma in agriculture and irrigation technician. Ali is incredibly knowledgeable about stonetown and more generally about the history of Zanzibar. We had a great 3.5 hours walking the alleys of Stonetown and it’s market, learning lots and soaking in the hustle and bustle. Great introduction to the Zanzibar archipelago. Highly recommend a walk with Ali.
Ali was a great guide, he showed us around the main attractions in Stone town and we even tried out some spices and sweets. He answered my many questions and taught us some Swahili. Definitely recommended!
