Hectors tour was amazing! Would highly recommend to all, he was friendly, informative, frank about the history of El Salvador and we ended up staying together for 4+ hours
Hector was one of the best Tourguides I‘ve ever had. He‘s very funny, knows the best places and has incredible Stories about the history of El Salvador. I recommend it to everyone!
I had a great time on the walking tour with Hector - HOWEVER, I really don't appreciate the fact we were lied to about the prices on foods at the market - clearly this was done, so he could make a profit of the money collected for the food ($3 per person x 15 ish people). We went the next day and everything was 2-4x cheaper than what he had stated. Putting that aside, it was definitely an educational walking tour and one of the best I've done so far.
Hector was knowledgeable about the history and current events. The most interesting part of the tour for me was Hector sharing his personal experience with the gangs, it’s one thing to read about it in the news but another to hear it straight from someone who lived it. The local food tour was good too.
