Hello! I am Emanuele and I was born and live in Naples, I am deeply in love with the whole gulf of which I consider myself a child, I love to get in touch with the contrasting and fragmented realities that characterize the Neapolitan area and in particular my beloved city, just as I love very much travel and discover cultures and customs different from mine.
I have been working in tourism and public relations for 10 years, and I have always felt the need to deviate from the way of doing mass tourism, preferring a vision more oriented towards "travelers" rather than "tourists", putting in contact the people with the different colors of local realities and listen to the thousand voices and the thousand stories they tell.
I am not a formal guide but rather I consider myself a cultural mediator between the traveler and the world I know, in order to help him feel part of the reality that surrounds him so that he can touch it with his hand, and experience it, rather than looking at it from the outside as in a shop window. I also believe that this is the best way to make everyone's experience more informal, spontaneous and genuine.
So what are you waiting for? Are you coming for a friendly walk with me?
Emanuele un Napolitano a pura cepa! El tour es lo que dice, te cuenta la historia de Napoles desde el 3000 a.c. lo cual esta muy bueno. Si buscas ir a los edificios historicos no es por aca! Espectacular recorrido
Emanuel was a informative guide, passionate about Naples and helped you to feel that passion.
Very knowledgeable. He specializes in teaching you the history of the city and integrating key parts of the place with it. This means no monuments but going through a few areas for food and craftsmanship that continue to use traditional techniques that are being antiquated. The goal is to teach how to be a better tourist and to provide a consciousness for how tourism affects a place. Incredibly knowledgeable. WARNING: He speaks very fast, even for a Native English speaker, and it's because there's a rich history. If he cut content back, you'd be missing a lot of pieces that are important. Just be prepared for this.
Highly recommended! A great way to learn not only about history of Naples and the region but also to understand how a living, breathing part of the city functions - from everyday life of people, through economy and urban planning, to tourism and politics. Don’t think twice, take the tour!
