I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. If you join me, I will not only show you the most beautiful and important sights of the capital city but also share some of the best stories it has with you.
Robert was a fantastic guide. We saw some of the major sites and he shared some very interesting stories. I especially appreciated the personal stories of his family. He was fun, creative, and very thoughtful! He even brought hot tea and candies for us. Definitely take this tour, you won’t be dissapinted!
We truly enjoyed our tour of Budapest with our guide, Robert. He shared so many fascinating stories and insights, making the walk both fun and memorable. The route was beautiful, and we really appreciated the thoughtful list of recommendations he gave us at the end. Do keep in mind that the tour lasts almost four hours, so be prepared for a longer walk. Also, Robert speaks quite quickly, so if your English is not very strong, you might find some parts a bit challenging to follow. All in all, we definitely recommend joining this tour—it was a great experience!
Robert was an amazing storyteller, dynamic, and very thoughtful. I joined a tour on an especially chill day and Robert brought tea for everyone and even accommodated a coffee stop in a cafe so everyone could warm up. His stories were amazing, interesting, and he was so friendly. Robert you’re the best tour guide out there! I would take another tour with Robert if I visit Budapest again.

Robert provided an amazing tour! He spoke clearly and tailored his presentation to our groups interests. His knowledge of Hungary and specifically Budapest are encyclopedic. He included interesting stories throughout to make the history come alive. Robert also provided many tips and suggestions that can only come from a person who grew up here. This was our first time in Budapest…I can’t think of a better way to learn about the city and Hungary.
