I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. This was the best tour I have taken in years (and I do a tour in every new city I visit). I booked with Robert because of the great reviews and the longer duration, Budapest is such a wonderful city, and I wanted as much context as possible. And boy did he absolutely deliver! Robert is incredibly knowledgeable, super entertaining, enthusiastic, and witty- the time flew by! You get a great mix of historical facts, explanations of what’s happening in Hungary today, plenty of laughs, and genuinely useful local tips on where to go and what to try. It was a great tour and also quite informative. Robert also included interactive parts, so despite its length it never got boring.
