Ich wurde in Argentinien geboren und bin mein ganzes Leben gereist. Ich spreche Spanisch, Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Arabisch und Portugiesisch und habe in vielen Ländern gelebt. Ich liebe gutes Essen, Natur und Gastfreundschaft, weshalb ich das mache. Ich habe gelernt, dass die Leute Chefchaouen gerne durch meine Erfahrung hier als Ausländer sehen, der gut an eine Kultur angepasst ist, die sich von meiner unterscheidet. Ich besitze auch ein Gästehaus (Riad Jibli), so dass ich beschäftigt bin. Ich bin Mutter, mein Leben in dieser wundervollen Stadt ist ganz einfach. Willkommen in Chefchaouen!
I’ve very lucky that crossing path with candeleria, she’s very informative and really accommodating. We crossed almost every corner of the city and the best part are meets a lot of local artist, bakers, carpenters, sheperds and all the stuff that I won’t be able to do without her!
Candelaria tour was more than I could ever have hoped. She indeed took us off the beaten path, away from the tourist throngs and introduced us to the beating hearts of Chefchaouen, all the while giving us the benefit of her 20+ years here (as a non-native she could explain some of the cultural uniqueness and things that us travellers would be fascinated by) her insight on how it has changed and her passion for her adopted home, it's passageways, people and community were evident from her stories and when we were with her, whether we were going into an oven, blacksmith or passing by her neighbours and friends in the street we were embraced by association...a true privilege. Plus her recommendations from where to eat, where to get the real handicrafts, things fixed etc...and much more were invaluable. No matter if you think you know Chaouen...I encourage you to get to know Candelaria's, I've come away even more in love with the place. Thank you Candelaria!
Die Tour mit Candelaria war wirklich großartig! Trotz des Feiertags nach Ramadanende hat Candelaria unsere kleine Gruppe von 3 Personen mit viel Begeisterung durch die wunderbaren Gassen der Medina geführt. Wir haben neben den bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten viele eher unbekannte interessante Ecken kennen gelernt. Candelarias Informationen zu Geschichte, Kultur und vielen weiteren Aspekten von Chefchaouen waren umfangreich und sehr interessant. Unsere Fragen hat sie ausgesprochen kompetent beantwortet. Mein Fazit: die Tour mit Candelaria empfehle ich zu 100%
