Luiz was a great guide. He gave great ensight into daily life and the dynamics in the favella. He was happy to answer questions. He pointed out points of interest along the way with thorough explanations. I would highly recommend Luiz as a guide and would gladly go on another of his tours.

i thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Luiz! The route takes you from the top of the favela through tiny alleyways and big streets down the favela, there is no way you can orient yourself within this maze, but doing it with a guide felt seamless… Luiz was very knowledgeable and after the tour I felt like I understood and experienced favela structure a little bit more, thank you, Luiz!
