Walking through with Luiz gave us far more insights than expected and I really appreciate his candor about living in a favela. Go with curiosity, open mindedness, and compassion.

Luis did a great job explaining the ins and outs of the favela. Getting to tour the community with a local was a great experience and truly helped us see all sides of Rio! He gave us lots of information about the political and society takes on the life of the residents in the community and was proud to show people about hai way of life. Highly recommend. Felt safe and cared for.
