Very informative and interesting tour with a lot more info than just food! Lulu was very entertaining and energetic, I really recommend this tour!!

Lulu was a lovely young lady who took us to very local places that a tourist would not normally find. We enjoyed a very varied selection of delicious Egyptian food. It was a lot of food! Arrive hungry! We would thoroughly recommend the tour.

My wife and I had a great food tour with Hasan. He was great tour guide with a lot of information that hengave us.

Lulu was an excellent guide. Nothing was too much trouble and the amount of food we had was enormous. She showed us some nice places which we wouldn't have found on our own. She was fluent (and I mean fluent) in English and Spanish. I would highly recommend asking for Lulu to be your guide! Andy

With Hassan we had a great time, it was nice to walk around, listen to all the information and taste delicious local food, sweets and drinks.

The tour itself was perfect. Hassan was perfect and made sure i had the best time. I didnt like the fact that the organisation puts themself on Guruwalk as a free tour, while you get a message after booking that you will have to pay depending on how many people would be in your group. You dont know the ammountnin advance. I think they should tell you this before booking so that you can take that in consideration. So nothing bad about Hassan, he and the tour are great, only the advertising is a bit misleading in my opinion.

This was an excellent tour - so much food! If you want to taste some really authentic Egyptian dishes this is the tour for you - the most amazing Garlic Chicken Shwarma, Koshary, Falafel, Ful and loads of sweet treats (I especially enjoyed the Arabian ice cream). And all washed down with a tamarind drink that tasted sublime. Hassan will take you to 6 or 7 local places and suggest the best dishes on offer. It’s all done at a relaxed pace and he’ll tell you about the history and architecture of the places along the way. Make this the first tour you do in Cairo and you’ll be back at the places to eat again and again!

Hassan gave us a fantastic walking tour! He was so friendly and informative, and even checked on our allergies. He took us to hidden gems we would have never found on our own, and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip in Egypt. It was a wonderful experience of genuine Egyptian hospitality. You gotta check this tour out!

I am still in a food coma! The food started with a big bowl of traditional Egyptian dish, koshari, when the waiter made a great show of how to prepare a sauce for the dish. Our tour guide was very knowledge and enthusiastic. He appreciated all interest about the Egyptian cuisine and answered all my questions. If you are a foodie or want to try local food, this is the tour for you!

Oh wow! We ate a lot! Lulu was an amazing guru. She was extremely sweet and our food tour turned into a funny shopping and eating, eating and shopping again tour. She showed us almost every gemstones of downtown and suggested so much. Lulu, you are the best! Cannot thank her enough.

The food tour was really nice, we had tried a good variety of food while wandering around the street of downtown Cairo. It was a super cool experience and Hassan was an amazing guide, funny and knowledgeable. We spent a great time with him. 100 % recommended!!

Lulu brought great energy and enthusiasm for introducing us to Egyptian food, which was delicious! I wouldn’t have been able to taste Egyptian burgers, pizza, falafel and desert without her!

She even told us many things about Ramadan, because we visited Egypt during this period. We had so much food, even left for the next day. Thank you for everything. We had a great tour of downtown local eateries. Lulu, our guide, was really nice and made sure that everyone had a great experience. The food was very good and varied. She made extra effort to give us a great experience during Ramadan.

Lulu is such a lovely and brilliant tour guide! She went an extra mile to make sure we would experience an authentic local food. She a an took us to a place where locals go to eat an authentic egyptian food and made sure we would be comfortable eating those without getting our stomach upset the whole time.
