Bergen Food Tour

We had an awesome time in Bergen with our guide Nacho! He was super knowledgeable, fun, and made the tour really enjoyable. He showed us the best spots in the city, shared great stories, and gave us some great tips. A perfect way to explore Bergen—highly recommended!

This was a great introduction to Bergen, covered a lot of history, the history and information given was relevant to the area's we visited. Definitely appreciated the tip about the hot dog stand.

Tour a good length and full of relevant and helpful information. Bergen is smaller than most other guru walks we have been on but nevertheless Nacho made the tour engaging and fun. Thanks

A great way to find your feet in Bergen

We had a very informative tour of the city of Bergen , profound history and also fun facts. Lots of useful information and recommendations for coming visits.

Nacho was friendly and professional. It was raining heavily during our tour and not so many showed up. Still, he managed to keep us engaged and gave us great recommendations on what to eat and where to go in our time in Bergen.

This was an excellent tour! As someone living in Norway for a long time, Sandra understands cultural differences and explain them in a beautiful way. The tour company could buy a microphone though because it was a big group and there was a lot of ambient noise in the city, which sometimes made it hard to hear.

It's a must. So much to see and learn about the beautiful city of Bergen.

The guide was enthusiastic but there were two significant problems. First, the organization. She seemed to believe that she was in charge only of the "yellow umbrella" group. Then the "red umbrella" group joined. She seemed to be surprised, she did not have the names of the people of this group but shew took them in charge. We were 24 people and she had no microphone, which is incorrect for such a large group. Sandra said that the company didn't give it to her, that maybe if they saw that there were a lot of us, they would give it to her in the future. Is it like that or should she put it? I don't know, but I do know that the quality of the tour drops a lot due to not being able to hear well. Regarding the most touristic part, too much information on anecdotal facts - how waste is processed in Norway or that they eat tacos on Fridays - and practically no historical context. I'm not saying that everyday life isn't important, but shorter, please.

Excellent tour by a very professional tour guide. Local history covered and different areas of town covered. She gave not only historical information but also covered quite a bit of information on the way of life for the Norwegian people

Another excellent tour from Walking Talking Tours. I use the GuruWalk app in most places that I visit and havn't been dissappointed. Our walk today in Bergen was well paced and informative and above all great fun. Our guide even arranged a tasting session on the fish market which was an unexpected bonus.
