Enjoyable tour which took us c3hrs to complete, route is flexible but gave us a good insight to the central area and a very good introduction to Athens and the key attractions. Walter was articulate and very knoweldgeable and also easy to hear which is always a bonus.

We had the best experience. The tour was funny, informative and costumized to the taste of the group. The information was very diverse and our guide was able to answer all our questions woth ease.

Stavros was an awesome guide and gave us a lot of interesting information on the most important places of the city. In the group we even could decide on which Infos and places we want to focus on. The tour was very informative about Greek history, myths and culture. Stavros told us many stories about the city covering various topics such as theatre, philosophy etc… always making sure to find things that were of interest to the group. The walk was at a nice leisurely pace. I highly recommend his tour !

Stavros was great. He was very informative and had a great sense of humor. It was the perfect balance of walking and explaining. I had a ten year old with me. Stavros did a really good job of engaging him. It’s a great tour for all ages. We thought he was awesome.

Stavros is an enthusiastic former teacher, sociologist, NY graduated, who guided us through the history of the Ancient Greece for three incredible hours, making sure everyone felt included. Initially, I felt a bit intimidated by Stavros’ personality; I have to say that by the end, he was like we have been knowing Stavros for a while. His friendly approach along knowledge and history passion make Stavros one of the best Guru we have ever encountered. Many thanks once again.

Great tour with a lot of detail on different aspects of Athenian history and culture; plus Stavros was very knowledgeable about things that weren't covered in the tour itself but I ask about. Plus very humourous, and good at integrating the younger members of the audience (and shielding them from harsher topics)

Fun and entertaining. Stavros, our guide, was very engaging and took care to gauge the expectations of the group at the start. He also rechecked at a couple of points mid tour and adjusted where needed to provide historical and fun facts. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!!

Stavros is entertaining and funny. He engaged with everyone on the tour and provided a lot of facts and tidbits - I'd say we had a very educated crowd and many of them said they were surprised by his knowledge and learned something new! It's well worth 3 hours. You can also ask him anything about the city and he will tell you.
