Free Walking Tours through Old Zagreb

We had an amazing experience with Robert. His style of presentation it really kept our attention for all the duration of the tour. We recommend!

In general i was positively surprised about Zagreb and people. The city is charming and people are very friendly with good English welcoming tourists. The Guruwalk made my short trip even better in 2 hours we had the chance to visit Northern side of city (old town) and Robert's knowledge and charming manner made the tour even better. The tour was informative and our guide was funny and explained a lot about croatian history and culture.Finally he gave us good suggestions for local food and recommendations for excellent restaurants.

Very funny and engaging. He asked each of us about why we were there which was a lovely gesture. He was open to chat privately as we walked which was lovely. He was definitely the cynic when it came to Croatian politics which was entertaining to hear if a bit sad!! Highly recommended!! A man who was born to do this job!!

Sehr informative Tour, Robert ging mit vielen Fakten auf die Geschichte der Stadt ein und das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die besuchten Orte waren gut ausgewählt und das Gesamtpaket war stimmig. Es gab sogar eine kleine Überraschung :) Gerne wieder.

Robert was very welcoming and friendly. He put everyone at easy and was comfortable to chat to. The tour was at the right pace and took us through the old town of Zagreb to the main points of interest. It was great that the tour was timed to be at the top when the cannon went off at midday. Robert was very friendly when we met, good conversation whilst waiting for the other walkers to arrive. During the tour his enthusiasm shined and he gave me lots of information on highlights of the northern part of Zagreb. Robert is clearly a professional and I would not hesitate to visit again. Outstanding! Robert is a top-notch professional guide who has lived in Zagreb all his life. Between seeing many of the beautiful landmarks of the city, he entertained us with information, from historical understanding to personal (funny) stories of living in Croatia and the capital city. As a former high school teacher, he really knows how to explain things while keeping your attention (with jokes!) and he is open to all kinds of questions. Highly recommended!
