Tour description

🌞 Málaga Free Walking Tour

Join us for a fun and relaxed walk through the heart of Málaga — a city full of sunshine, stories, and surprises! Our Free Walking Tour runs every single day of the year, no matter the weather.

📍 Meeting point: at 6pm sharp in Alameda Principal, right in front of the Larios Monument.

We’ll start our adventure in the center of the city, where we’ll share Málaga’s story — from its humble beginnings to the lively, modern city you see today.

From there, we’ll head to the Atarazanas Market, one of Málaga’s most colorful and authentic spots. See locals shopping, smell the fresh seafood, and soak in the everyday rhythm of the city.

Next, we’ll wander through the charming streets to San Juan Church, a quiet corner with centuries of history — one of those places most visitors walk right past without realizing how special it is.

Our route continues to Málaga’s Cathedral, known as La Manquita (“the one-armed lady”), one of the features of the Golden Age, and an example of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Just around the corner, we’ll reach the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba, where ancient Rome and Moorish Spain come together. It’s one of the most beautiful and historic areas in all of Andalucía — perfect for great photos and even better stories!

Then we’ll make our way to Plaza de la Merced, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. You’ll hear about his life, his art, and maybe a few local secrets and legends.

A few steps away is Santiago Church, where Picasso was baptized, and from there we’ll walk along Calle Granada until we reach the Pasaje Chinitas — a maze of narrow lanes with a bohemian past, once full of flamenco, cafés, and laughter. This hidden corner still captures the true spirit of Málaga.

Finally, we’ll finish at Plaza de la Constitución, the beating heart of the city, surrounded by cafés and history. It’s the perfect place to relax, ask questions, and maybe get a few tips for the best tapas and local beers in town.

And that’s not all! Between these main stops, our guides will take you to secret spots and hidden gems that most tourists never find. Every tour is a little different — full of personal stories, local legends, and fun surprises along the way.

So put on your walking shoes, bring your curiosity, and come discover the real Málaga with us!
