Tour description

Bring Your Appetite, Xi’an Doesn’t Do Diets!

Hi! I’m Wenqi, a born-and-bred Xi’an foodie with a PhD in noodle-slurping and dumpling-devouring! 🥟 Think of me as your hype-human for conquering the Carb Kingdom—we’ll feast on crispy roujiamo, chase history through ancient walls, and swap stories like spicy biangbiang noodles. Adventure (and food babies) guaranteed.

During my tour I may show you:

🍜 Ancient Restaurants: Visit 100-year-old spots where locals ate (yes, the carbs are that good)

🏡 Hidden Local Gems: Find tiny family restaurants even Xi’aners keep secret.

🌙 Night Market Madness: Stuff your face with spicy skewers, crispy pancakes, and desserts that glow in the dark.

🍦 Sweet & New: Taste modern treats: hawthorn ice cream, bubble tea with Xi’an twists.

🍻 Beer & Bars: Sip local craft beer in hidden bars (yes, Xi’an has jazz too).

👩🍳 Cook with Locals: Make dumplings or noodles in someone’s home (yours will look like sad pillows… but tasty!)

Let’s get terracotta-wasted together—your turn to say ‘yes’!

IMPORTANT
The food price is not included. You decide how much you eat, how much you pay.

Bell Tower of Xi'an & Drum Tower of Xi'an
The Bell Tower of Xi'an is a historic Ming Dynasty structure located at the city's center. Built in 1384, it stands 36 meters tall on a brick base, featuring three layers of eaves and a spiral staircase. The tower, with its dark green tiles and gold-plated roof, is a prime example of Ming architecture. Originally housing the Jingyun Bell, it now contains a smaller 5-ton bell. The tower's engravings depict popular ancient Chinese stories.

Xi'an Muslim Dasi Residential Quarter
Located near the Bell and Drum Towers, it’s a centuries-old Muslim neighborhood dating back to the Tang Dynasty: 1. Home to the Hui ethnic minority (Chinese Muslims), blending Islamic culture with Chinese traditions. 2. Culinary Paradise: A foodie’s dream with over 200+ street food stalls and restaurants. Famous for halal cuisine (no pork) and authentic Northwestern Chinese flavors. (You’ll need to cover your own meal costs.)
