Palermo: The Garden of Buenos Aires
Tour description
First stop: Botanical Garden
We begin at this oasis designed by Carlos Thays, where we'll tour centuries-old trees, greenhouses, and exotic species. We'll learn about its evolution from an ornamental garden to a key refuge for urban flora and fauna.
Second stop: Ecopark (former Zoo)
We'll visit the former zoo, now a biopark focused on animal rescue and rehabilitation. We'll learn about its history, the animals that still live there, and its transformation into a conservation and environmental education center.
Third stop: The Rose Garden
This Buenos Aires classic dazzles with its 18,000 rosebushes. Beyond its beauty, we'll discover its ecological role in Parque 3 de Febrero and how it combines art, design, and sustainability.
Last stop: The Planetarium
We close with a look at the universe at this iconic science outreach center, where astronomy and education meet.
