My name is Chris a born and bred cockney from the East End of London. I have been guiding walking tours around the great City of London since 2005 when I qualified as an official City of London guide. I have been passionate about the history of London since I was a small boy and that passion has never died. My interest in the City has enabled me to explore many of the traditions, secrets and eccentricities of the City that most people do not know about and which I can now share with my clients on my walks. Tour description

Travel across 2000 years of history seeing the City of London's greatest sights including an ancient fortress, Roman ruins, magnificent churches, hidden gardens, the site of executions and much, much more. The walk finishes at the gem that is St Paul's Cathedral.

London is a City with a rich history founded on the historic port which for hundreds of years was the source of the wealth which financed the growth of the superpower that was Great Britain.

For hundreds of years London has been at the heart of the world's financial system. This is where the markets and products which built the world we know today were developed. Your walk will explore the hidden alleyways of the City where these great institutions were born.

JANUARY 17th and 22nd - The tour will start at Temple Station and finish at Monument Station but will still include most of the sights listed above.

Dress - Please wear shoes comfortable and suitable for walking and dress according to the weather as the walk will go ahead even if it is raining.
Food and drink - Please bring a drink with you as we will not normally stop for refreshments. There are many places to eat and drink in the Tower Hill and St Paul's areas. We will pass shops where you can buy food and drink if you need to.
Restrooms - There are restrooms available at the start, finish and along the route of the walk.
