Heritage Walk: Tracing the legacy of the islamic mataram Kingdom in Yogyakarta

A fantastic tour that took us through the history of the area, including some Hindu sites and some of the old kota buildings and traditions and food. It was just extremely interesting and well worth doing.

I learned a lot about the history & culture of the oldest part of Yogyakarta, and tried delicious local street food! In 1.5 hour one can gain quite a lot of knowledge with Surya :)

I really enjoy the tour. Eventho it was drizzling, but the tour guide is professional and he still showed up. The quality of information he provided not just about Mataram kingdom and royals, but also Javanese culture & hostory from a different era is superb. He's also very joyful and pleasant person. Overall, it improves my stay here in Jogja
