I have traveled and worked in Europe, and on many occasions, I have had to explain what Asturias is, what is different about it ... And I always wondered if travelers really want to know or are satisfied with the clichés of cider and the Reconquest. Now that I can consider myself a veteran guide, I really want to convey what Asturias is and why it is the way it is. Let's get out of the clichés, let's get into the city.
This tour is for slow tasting. Far from the quick consumption of photos and anecdotes, we will learn about the origin of the city and its development over time. We will see urban art, monuments, two very different areas, we will recommend visits for the rest of the day and smart purchases, and we will talk about the people of Oviedo. The intention is that at the end of the tour, participants will know everything about Oviedo, about its past and milestones, and its relationship with Asturias. And since an important part of the attraction of Asturias is the gastronomic one, we will end with a small tasting and recommendation of local products that will allow them to taste, give as a gift, and enjoy their stay.
