Tuve una experiencia excelente recorriendo los malecones de Miraflores con Javier. Desde el inicio el servicio fue muy profesional: pasó por nosotros al hotel y organizó un recorrido sumamente completo, dinámico y personalizado. La primera parte del tour cubrió perfectamente lo que uno espera de un gran walking tour por Miraflores: explicación detallada del Parque Kennedy, la catedral de Miraflores y el antiguo palacio municipal. Solo esa introducción ya superaba muchos tours tradicionales que normalmente ofrecen en la zona. Lo que realmente hace diferente a Javier es la profundidad de su conocimiento cultural y gastronómico. Nos recomendó restaurantes de autor, propuestas gastronómicas locales y lugares populares auténticos del centro de Miraflores, explicando historia, contexto y evolución culinaria del distrito. Se nota muchísimo su experiencia y pasión por la ciudad. El recorrido por todos los malecones fue espectacular. Cada parque tuvo su propia historia, explicación arquitectónica, contexto popular y referencias literarias. Javier conectó perfectamente la historia de Lima con personajes y elementos culturales contemporáneos, incluyendo referencias muy interesantes sobre Mario Vargas Llosa y su vínculo con la ciudad. Uno de los momentos más interesantes fue la explicación en el Parque Maria Reiche, donde nos habló sobre las líneas de Nazca representadas en el jardín y su importancia histórica y arqueológica. Fue una explicación muy clara, entretenida y educativa. Además de ser un guía turístico extremadamente preparado, Javier tiene excelente manejo del grupo, gran actitud, mucha paciencia y una manera muy amena de transmitir información. El tour mezcla historia, arquitectura, literatura, gastronomía y cultura popular de forma muy natural. Es el único tour que realmente te lleva por todos los malecones de Miraflores. El recorrido es largo — oficialmente dura 4 horas, aunque nosotros terminamos haciéndolo en casi 5 — pero sinceramente no se siente en absoluto porque Javier mantiene todo el tiempo explicaciones muy amenas, interesantes y llenas de contenido cultural e histórico. La experiencia está tan bien llevada que fácilmente podríamos haber seguido una o dos horas más y lo hubiéramos disfrutado igual. Es un tour sumamente completo, entretenido y diferente a cualquier otro recorrido tradicional en Lima.

Bruce showed me so many new things about the city of Lima and its history. He was very informative but also had a lot of fun with the history of it all. And he is very handsome <3

Diego is an excellent guide. He kept the tour even though there was only one guest, and stayed professional throughout the tour. We tasted some local fruits from the market, and walked around the entire neighborhood. I highly recommend the tour

We, myself and my wife spent all day with Victor. It was very informative and very interesting day. Victor very knowledgeable and nice person. We saw a lot of hidden gems of Lima that only can be known by locals. In addition, we tried fabulous Peruvian food which we would not be able to find without Victor. We highly recommend Victor to anyone who want to have an unforgettable experience in Lima.

I've found InkaPrideTours on instagram and they told me to do a reservation through GuruWalk. So then, I met Bruce. It was an incredible experience! Very crazy streets, people, parks, a lot of alcohol, and Bruce explained me about his personal life related to the underground scene in Lima city. Also, he talked about many topics that we don't learn in a normal city tour. This tour was perfect for me to understand peruvian nightlife in a different way and on a different level. Bruce didn't drink so much. He says he needs to take care of his tourists. At the end, we went for a 24 hours hamburguer in one corner and then he was very nice to drive me to my Airbnb. Arigato <3

On the whole tour you realize that Bruce knows the city well. Barranco for me was the most beautiful district of Lima and Bruce showed me excellent places there and explained backround knoledge. Bruce himself lived for a longer time in Barranco and knows a lot of bars really good. He also knows many graffitis and knows a lot about it. After the Tour through the historic center I was not disappointed on this tour! Thank you Bruce!!!

Interesting to see this lovely house/mansion but 30 mins is sufficient then some surroundings. Augusto was very enthusiastic

Not your “typical” history tour. Bruce shows you the real city with its flavors, pain and laughter, history and music. And yes, come hungry as there will be lots of local food from local vendors. You would never get an experience like this. Be a local for a day. Breathe the city in. Feel it with every fibre of your body.

Bruce was the perfect Guide. He explained everything with passion. He gave us advice for good food which we tried directly. He focused on our interess and behaved more like a friend than a guide. We loved and enjoyed the tour and we would recommend to everybody making the Freewalking with Bruce.

Loved the tour, good contrast between places. However be prepared for lots of walking and try the anticuchos. I will say that the tour is fast paced however.

Alvaro wusste gut über die Geschichte und Architektur der Stadt Lima Bescheid und teilte sein Wissen voller Leidenschaft mit mir. Man merkt, dass es ihm Freude macht, den Besuchern mehr über Lima zu erzählen, damit man als Tourist auch etwas mitnimmt von diesem Besuch. Er nahm mit mir den Bus (Metropolitana) von Miraflores nach Downtown, sodass ich nun weiss, welche Verbindung ich nehmen muss, falls ich mal alleine nach Downtown gehen möchte. Und im Stadtzentrum waren um die wichtigsten Regierungsgebäude einige Sperren aufgestellt, an denen ich mich alleine wahrscheinlich nicht getraut hätte nach Eingang zu fragen. Aber Alvaro hat die Polizisten immer wieder um Einlass angefragt, damit wir doch auf die wichtigsten Plätze gehen konnten und sogar den Schichtwechsel der Präsidentengarde mitverfolgen konnten. Es war alles in allem eine sehr interessante Tour und auch lehrreich für mich, da wir uns auch allgemeiner über das Land ausgetauscht haben.

Had a great tour of Miraflores, Lima with Alvaro. He was very friendly & informative, took us to several different sights including Parque 7, Peruvian Markets, Mercado San Ramon, Parque del Amor with views over the Pacific & more.
