First generation of an Aymara Family born and raised in the city but it didn't prevent me from learning about my heritage but also learning about the history and traditions of my country. I love my culture, my people traditions, and I want to share them with anyone who is interested in a very entertaining way.

Tour description

The only Graffiti and Muralism tour in La Paz, learning about the ancestry, beliefs about death and current social problems.

We'll start at "Faro Murillo" Cable car station, then we take a walk to visit the place where our shamans work, a place covered in art related to Ancient culture Tiwanaku.
Then we take public transportation through a market to get a street where there are many pieces of murals protesting about different social issues in our country and world but also about our culture and traditions.
We'll take a short stop in a memorial, wich might not be the fanciest but it is for us to never forget what happened in El Alto city, a painfully event for many families, including mine... But led Bolivia to a change nobody could have imagined.
Get your legs ready to descent to "Chualluma" neighborhood by many stairs, a whole neighborhood covered in colors and art sharing their individual and collective identity which is absolutely unique in Bolivia.
And finish in The Biggest Open Air Art Museum where you least expect it, in the General Cementery of La Paz, The largest one in the country.

NOTE 1:

Please, bring some change for the little expenses on the route.
Around 4USD or 25BOB would be fine.
(I can break down big BOB notes or US Dollars so we move smoothly during the tour).

NOTE 2:
i have never left Bolivia, but I do know about some popular graffiti tours like in Comuna 13, etc.
The first 3 stops might not be as impresive as that one but the two last ones are definetely worth it and I am eager to share them with you.
This is a personal project, I plan to use good amount of the profit to support part of the financement for the yearly Graffiti Festival "ÑaTinta" in our cementery in October
But also I would love to invite artists to my city, pay for the paint/tools and try to create a change through art, I genuinely believe it is possible and one of the stops in my tour is the proof.
