Roman York: Eboracum Uncovered. An ancient city with stories with stories left to tell.

Roman York (Eboracum) was the capital of northern Britannia. With a Roman fort and a civilian population, it was a bustling metropolis, much as it is today. We will begin the tour at York Minster, next to the restored Roman column, and end near Bootham Bar.
Step back 2000 years with me, and follow in the footsteps of the 9th Legion as they set up the Principia (York Minster), build defensive walls (Monk Bar), take relaxing baths (Roman Bath Museum) and create distinctive landmarks (Multangular Tower - Museum Gardens).
Join my tour for a great insight into the Roman history of this fascinating city!

The tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes
