Hey there! I’m Oliver and I live here in London. I’m a friendly and open-minded guy who is simply in love with his city. That’s why I’m here. I want to share with you the experience of London as lived by locals and not just the tourist trail. Together, we will see famous ladmarks and hidden sides of the city. Thanks to traveling I realized how important it is to know different cultures and life-styles, so that’s why I proposed myself as a guide. I hope you will enjoy the city as much as I do. ;)

Tour description

Welcome to the History of London City Free Tour!

We will start from one of the most wonderful and unique castles in the world: Tower of London. From here we will start learning more about the fascinating and engaging history of the city of London.

Our walk will continue along the Thames where we will have the opportunity to enjoy breath-taking panoramic views of some of the City's most-loved attractions, such as Tower Bridge, the former City Hall building, London's iconic Shard, the warship HM Belfast, and London Bridge, which turns into a tapestry of lights as dusk descends.

We will glimpse at the enchanting secret garden of the Ruins of St. Dunstan-in-the-East, followed by Monument of the Great Fire of London, built to celebrate the rebuilding of the City.

Then we will admire the ornate roof and cobbled floors at Leadenhall Market, a must-see gem that was used to film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

We will glimpse at the Jamaica Wine House, which is the historic birthplace of London’s impressive coffee house scene with its rich and vibrant history. We will then walk through the harmonious Royal Exchange, followed by the Bank of England and Mansion House.

The tour will end with an unforgettable view of St. Paul Cathedral, which stands as a beacon of spiritual grandeur and architectural splendour, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its timeless beauty.
