The incomparable tour of MONTMARTRE!
Starting at Place Blanche, behind the kiosks under the trees, we'll stroll through one of Paris's most historic districts: Montmartre . Locals call it the painters' quarter!
We'll return to the Belle Époque in front of the Moulin Rouge cabaret . Who doesn't want a photo with its iconic windmill? Then, we'll cross Rue Lépic to reach the Cafe deux Moulins, the setting for some scenes from the film Amélie .
Next, we'll visit the building where Vincent van Gogh lived and discover the influence the Impressionists had on his art. We'll continue our walk through the streets of Montmartre to reach Le Bateau Lavoir. It was Picasso's first studio in Paris!
Just a few steps away, we'll find the Moulin de la Galette, a source of inspiration for Renoir . We'll pass through Place Dalida and stop by the Maison Rose . Want to know what connection this building has with Picasso? We'll find out before heading to the Lapin Agile cabaret.
After a tour lasting approximately two and a half hours, we will conclude the free tour of the Painters' Quarter at the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
