Tour description
The incomparable tour of MONTMARTRE!
It starts at Place Blanche, behind the kiosks under the trees we will walk through one of the most historic districts of Paris: Montmartre . Locals call it the painters' neighborhood!
We will return to the Belle Époque in front of the Moulin Rouge cabaret . Who doesn't want a photo with its emblematic mill? Then, we will cross Lépic Street to reach the Cafe deux Moulins, the scene of some scenes from the film Amélie .
Next, we will see the building where Vincent Van Gogh lived and discover the influence that the Impressionists had on his art. We will resume the walk through the streets of Montmartre to reach Le Bateau Lavoir. It was Picasso's first workshop in Paris!
A few steps away we will find the Moulin de la Galette, a source of inspiration for Renoir . We will pass through Plaza Dalida and stop next to the Maison Rose . Do you want to know what relationship this building has with Picasso? We'll find out before we approach the Lapin Agile cabaret.
After a tour of approximately two and a half hours, we will conclude the free tour of the painters' quarter at the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
