Discover the rich history and hidden charms of Icod de los Vinos with our fascinating free tour. We will start in Plaza de América, a place with easy access whether you arrive by car or bus. From here, we will narrate the history of this town, which became an important center of Tenerife after the Castilian conquest.
Our first stop will be the church of San Agustín and the Town Hall . Nearby is the convent of San Francisco , today converted into the municipal library, and the Emeterio Gutiérrez Albelo House-Museum , a space dedicated to the life and work of this Canarian poet.
We will continue towards the Andrés de Lorenzo Cáceres square, located in front of the Matriz de San Marcos church, which houses valuable religious images. A few meters away is the Banana Museum , an incredible place to learn everything about this emblematic fruit of the Canary Islands.
We will descend to the Plaza de la Constitución (popularly known as Plaza de la Pila), which offers a partial view of the famous Millenario Drago Tree . This emblematic tree, an undisputed symbol of Tenerife, is a must-see that we recommend exploring at the end of the tour.
Our tour will conclude next to the Tourist Office after approximately 2 hours in which you will have discovered the wonders of this urban jewel.

You will find us in the central part of Plaza de América. Try to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time. If you come by car, the Draco Parking is the closest; and if you come by guagua (bus), it will take 4 minutes to cross Francisco Miranda Street and Canarias Avenue, until you find us.
