From here, we will begin to tour the most monumental part of the city: first, we will approach the Jerónimos Monastery to visit its church (whenever it is open), then we will go to the Plaza del Imperio , symbol of the Empire Portuguese from the 15th-16th century.
Later, we will arrive at the Compass Rose , where we will discover exactly what routes were followed by Vasco da Gama or Bartolomeu Dias. In addition, we will get closer to admire the imposing Monument to the Discoveries .
The final point will be the Belém Tower . Where we will learn about its history, and the story of the first rhinoceros that arrived in Europe.
