Tour description
Have you not visited San Telmo yet?
Without a doubt one of the neighborhoods you can't miss !
On this tour we will take an incredible walk through the most picturesque corners of the city, on a historical journey that will transport you to Colonial Buenos Aires, its architectural styles, its customs and secrets.
We will start at Lezama Park, bordering the La Boca neighborhood, exactly located in the year 1536. We will go through the fascinating history of the founding of Buenos Aires and try to imagine that intercultural encounter with the indigenous peoples.
We will delight in architectural gems such as the Russian Orthodox Church with its neo-Byzantine style.
We will advance through the 17th and 18th centuries, where we will see buildings founded by the Jesuits and the Betlemitas, such as the Parish of San Pedro González Telmo.
We will walk along the street where the English troops entered at the beginning of the 19th century, and visit iconic buildings such as the Ezeiza residence, built at the end of that century.
We will be able to take charming photos , such as the narrowest house in the city of Buenos Aires and a sky of colorful umbrellas.
We will end by visiting MAFALDA!
on the border between San Telmo and Montserrat, an area of bars, art, history, food, beer, antiques and more.
San Telmo will be yours! Enjoy it 😊
We are waiting for you!
