Tour description

At the appointed time we will meet at the Fuente del Pimiento, next to the Paseo del Generalife to begin this free tour of the legends of the Alhambra. Welcome to Granada! Although we will not access the interior of the palaces of the complex, we will take a walk around its surroundings to learn the main stories of this famous fortress from the Andalusian era.

First, we will walk around the walls of this fortress and pass by the Tower of the Seven Floors. Do you know why it is called that? We will find out during the free tour! Next, we will stop at the church of Santa María de la Alhambra and the old Taberna del Polinario to tell you about its Andalusian past.

We will continue the tour passing under the Gate of Justice and enter the Alhambra Forest to learn about the stories and legends of the area surrounding the entire Alhambra complex.

Then we will go through the Puerta de las Granadas, from where we will see the imposing Torres Bermejas on top of the hill. Photo moment!

Finally, after an hour and 45 minutes we will conclude this free tour of Granada in the central Plaza Nueva.
