“Be Curious (Not Judgemental)” on this free (pay what you feel) walking tour of the picturesque suburb of Richmond, home to the multi award winning Apple TV series Ted Lasso and the fictional AFC Richmond.
This one hour tour will take you to up, to a dozen filming locations of the hit series including the locations of several iconic scenes, and instantly recognisable locations for any “Ted Head” including Rebecca’s house, Teds apartment and of course the famous “Crown and Anchor” pub and more.
Guided by a local who grew up just 3 miles away and who is also a huge football (And Ted) fan. Discover hidden gems and secrets linked to both the show and Richmond itself, learn about Richmond’s vital role in British sporting heritage and it’s massive royal connections and its part in significant events in British and European history, and of course how it spawned one of the biggest TV shows on the planet.
Starting at Richmond Station an easy journey from central London, and finishing at The Princes Head pub (aka The crown and anchor) this tour explores many areas of the town used for filming one of the biggest tv shows of the decade.
So join us on this delightful tour and walk in the very footsteps of Ted, Beard, Rebecca, Roy, Keeley, Nate, Jade, Sam and many others of the most successful TV show in Apple TV history, a cultural phenomenon which has now been streamed nearly 20 billion times worldwide.

📃THE BASICS📃- What you need to know! (And the boring legal bit)
📍The Tour Starts outside Richmond Railway station at 10.30 (District line London Underground or South Western Railway from Waterloo, Vauxhall or Clapham Junction) Please note that there may be several tour groups here so make sure you find the right one. I will be wearing a flat grey cap and carrying a black backpack
📍The tour ends outside The Princes Head Pub a 3 minute walk back to Richmond Station at Approx 11.30
🧑🦽The route is mostly flat with a couple of small inclines, and a few sets of steps, on either paved roads or at one point across grass, unfortunately there are several sets of stairs which may be difficult for those in wheelchairs or with buggies. A comfortable pair of shoes or trainers is sufficient, no need for any specific footwear, although it is advised against wearing high heels.
🐕🦺The tour is suitable for dogs but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times.
🥤🥪Please note that there are very limited Toilet facilities or refreshments on this tour (there are several cafes at the start point) You may eat and drink on the tour (please no alcohol) but please be responsible and take any rubbish with you until you can find a bin. Smoking and vaping is forbidden on this tour for the comfort of all participants.
