Welcome! I am Ignacio, an architect by profession and also an official tourist guide. One of the pleasures that fills my pleasure is to show my wonderful and old Amsterdam where I live for more than 17 years, and where I have taken thousands of travelers around. I have spent years immersed in studying its history, exploring museums, alleys, its architecture and living the city as a resident; this is reflected in a HIGH QUALITY tour that satisfies all the cultural expectations that a tourist seeks; Therefore: If you are looking for the optimal guide to show you the beautiful city of Amsterdam, look no further! ∎ ∎ ∎ ∎ MY CAREER • Reina Sofia Museum, Madrid: I am “privileged” to take elite personalities and artists linked to the museum on tours when they visit Amsterdam. • I provide historical-cultural instruction on Amsterdam to German ship crews on exchange with the Netherlands. • Documentary on the International Flower Market, filmed at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam • Architecture: Today I lead a project of research and historical recovery of the southern part of the city. • My tours: are cultural projects that provide accurate and reliable information to tourists and are highly valued. “AMSTERDAM IS ESSENTIAL
"The Great Cultural Tour of Amsterdam"
⭕⭕
Welcome! As an architect and guide , I can tell you that Amsterdam has a huge historic center that is impossible to see in even a couple of months. That is why I give myself the pleasure of offering 3 tours through different parts of the city; all of HIGH QUALITY and with excellent evaluation. My tours are not always available, as my professional work is absorbing and I offer my tours when time allows me.
The TOUR
On this “FUNDAMENTAL” tour we will understand the foundations of Amsterdam, and for that I have carefully chosen each point of the excursion so that you can enjoy and understand this spiral-like city. We will go through narrow medieval streets and also walk its splendid canals and mansions, which I will fill with life and history with its characters, such as Rembrandt in Art or the passage of German troops in World War II. We will take a great tour seeing a lot of architecture, houseboats and iconic places not to be missed. There is a lot to see in Amsterdam, also called “The Venice of the North” and which was the largest power in Europe in the Merchant Navy. We will see its houses twisted by the centuries, the three Xs, the idiosyncrasy of its people and a world of themes that you will certainly enjoy. We will support the story with slides that will make the walk even more entertaining. We will learn to read a city when we see it for the first time and thus make the most of a trip. This excursion is to CULTIVATE OURSELVES and HAVE A GREAT TIME, like when we walk with friends. If we have the desire and time, we can go for a coffee or a beer afterwards . The idea is to have a great time on an unforgettable walk .
