Basket of Nean Mosaic Tour

This tour of Lavapiés is a journey to discover one of the most enigmatic urban artists in Madrid: Nean. His mosaics are already an emblem of the capital and his figure represents one of the main exponents of pixel art in Madrid.  

Enter one of the most important neighborhoods for urban art to meet Nean and the rest of the artists who bombard the center of the capital.

 The tour lasts approximately one and a half hours.

 We will begin the tour in the Plaza de Embajadores to enter the Lavapiés neighborhood, seeing the La Tabacalera murals and introducing the artist.

 Then we will cross Argumosa towards Santa Isabel to enjoy the pieces that surround the Antón Martín Market, as well as some of the most characteristic works of the area.

 Leaving this behind we will head towards Plaza de la Cebada, walking along Calle de la Cabeza, Calle Lavapiés or Tirso de Molina to see how urban art continues to evolve and seek new forms of expression.

 We will go down Ribera de Curtidores to turn to Embajadores, one of the streets where the most important artists gather, and we will continue to Nelson Mandela Square to finally go down Mesón de Paredes to the Panartería.

 The close relationship between the gallery and the artist will allow you to discover some of the curiosities and anecdotes that NEAN accumulated throughout his short but intense career.
