Tour description

Step into Christmas and join me on this fun and fascinating guided walk of many of London's famous festive locations.

As we explore the city together, you will discover how Londoners celebrate at this most wonderful time of the year, and learn about the many traditions & customs still observed. Of course, you will also see the world famous Christmas lights and decorations.

This isn't just a walk, this is an experience, as perhaps you will sample some festive food, sing a Christmas song and even pull a Christmas cracker.

Highlights include:

- Trafalgar Square with its famous tree (an annual gift from the people of Oslo.
- Covent Garden's wonderful Christmas market
- The ice skating rink at historic Somerset House
- the iconic Regent Street Christmas lights
- the theatre where Peter Pan was first staged

- how the Victorians invented Christmas
- an extract from A Christmas Carol

You will immediately step into Christmas when you see the festive ice skating rink in this historic palace, frequently used as a movie location!

Covent Garden

Walking through the oldest piazza in London, you will experience the sights and sounds of this most wonderful time of the year, as the market is adorned with Christmas decorations. There is also a photo opportunity beside the best Christmas tree in London (in my opinion!)
