Tour description
Discover the mysterious Gellért Hill with me and learn about this amazing city from a local! This tour offers a little escape from the busy city center and a great way to get to know the city and enjoy nature at the same time.

Join my tour if you like hiking and if you want to enjoy one of the most fascinating panoramas of the capital while learning interesting stories about Budapest, Hungary, and its citizens’ history, culture, and traditions!
IMPORTANT:
- This is a moderate-level hiking tour which means that we are going to climb around 340 steps (upwards), and achieve a total of 170-190m altitude in a short distance, appr. 3,5 km. Thus please wear comfortable (or hiking) shoes/sandals and bring a water bottle with you that you can refill along the way.
- The tour can only be held under the right weather conditions because the hiking trail can get slippery when wet. In case of bad weather I will contact you before the tour and inform you in time.
- We will go in small groups, with max. 5 persons. The route is not accessible by wheelchair.
Meeting point: at the drinking fountain in front of Gellért Thermal Bath. Don’t forget the comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle! To get to the meeting point you can use metro line 4 (green line), tram line 19/41/47/48/49/56/56A, bus line 7 or 133E - or you can reach the meeting point by foot 🙂.
We will finish the tour near Elizabeth Bridge on the Buda side, near the city center and Buda Castle District.
Let me show you the city from another perspective!
Cheers, Bernadett
