Tour description

We'll see you at Notre-Dame de la Garde . From that point, we will begin our itinerary admiring the impressive Romanesque-Byzantine style façade of the basilica, the most important monument in the city!
After learning about its history and interesting details, we will enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Marseille from where we can appreciate the stadium, the Old Port, the hills of the Calanques National Park, the Frioul Islands, among others.
A very noticeable point is the view that we will have of the island of If , which plays an important role in the novel by Alexandre Dumas, "The Count of Monte Cristo".

Next, we will begin the descent towards the city center passing through:

  • Parc Pierre Puget and the old Latin quarter , where the remains of the ancient Roman necropolis of Massilia are located.
  • The house of the French activist Berty Albrecht, who fought against the Nazi occupation in the country.
  • We will pass by the oldest bakery in the country.

Finally , we will conclude our tour enjoying the panoramic views from the Palais du Pharo Park.

We are waiting for you!!
