Free Tour: Discover everything Oslo has to offer
Tour description
Hello! I'm Elena and I'm looking forward to you joining me to discover the most emblematic places in Oslo , taking you through the history of this country and its customs, so different from Hispanic culture.
I hope to also discover other details that are not so well known, that will still surprise whoever you tell them to.
WHAT ARE WE GONNA SEE?
We will begin our tour in front of the Bjørvika Library and the Oslo Opera House, a place overlooking the fjord that shapes the city center. Afterwards, we will continue our visit along Rådhusgata street, entering a little into the most historical part of the city.
Next, we will go to Christiania Torv , the ancient center of the city, and the Akerhus fortress, where we will discover the history of this country and how it became the power it is today.
Later, we will head towards the port of Aker Brygge and Oslo City Hall , an imposing brick building also facing the fjord. We will go inside the town hall for a while so you can see its beautiful rooms and to shelter a little from the cold while I tell you a little about the history of Norway.
Afterwards, we will approach the National Theater, after which we will continue towards Stortinget, the Norwegian parliament. We will travel through Oslo's quintessential shopping street, Karl Johans, towards the city's cathedral, Oslo Domkirke .
We will end our tour in front of the tiger sculpture , next to Oslo central station .
HOW LONG DOES THIS TOUR LAST?
The tour will last approximately 2 and a half hours.
IS IT NECESSARY TO PURCHASE ENTRANCE TO ANY SITE?
No, we are not going to enter any paid place, but I do advise you to bring some water for the journey and appropriate clothing and shoes in winter. We will spend a lot of the tour outside and in Oslo the temperatures are usually very low.
Additionally, I accept electronic payment, but only through Bizum, PayPal or Revolut, with cash in crowns being my preference.
IS IT ADVISABLE FOR CHILDREN?
I will be delighted to receive audiences of all ages and I will try at all times to make the visit entertaining for everyone. I would like to be a teacher in the future, I love children.
