hello! I'm Shaima, I've been a guide in Cairo for more than 2 years. I love getting to know new cultures and new people. In my free walk tours we talk about the special places in Cairo, the customs, the cinema and the people.
Welcome to Cairo !
My name is Shimaa and I will be your guide during this tour. Together we will explore the history and culture of the city, visiting places such as:
- Tahrir Square where the January 2011 revolution took place during the Arab Spring.
- Then we will see the Nile River Corniche while watching the wonderful sunset view to relax and relieve stress.
- Then the Qasr El Nil Bridge , which was built in 1931 and is considered the first bridge established in Egypt to cross the Nile where there are two large statues of lions.
- At the beginning of the second hour of the tour we go to Talaat Harb Square, where European-style buildings were built. We will see the Khedive Cairo, who wanted to establish the Khedive Ismail, one of the Ottoman caliphs in Egypt.
- With a walk in the center of Cairo at night we will enjoy a typical Cairo juice: sugar cane juice
