Free tour of the central park of Holguin City
Tour description
My name is Alex and let me guide you on a tour of the central parks of Holguin City. During this tour, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of these public spaces and learn more about their history and the points of interest that surround them. Let's get started!
Our first destination is Julio Grave de Peralta Park, also known as "Parque de las Flores", another charming green space in Holguin. This park is famous for its attractive "Glorieta", its rest areas under the shade of the trees, and the Cathedral of San Isidoro, which shines from the east side of the park. Here you can enjoy a quiet moment while listening to live music or relaxing on the benches.
We continue our tour to Calixto Garcia Park, the heart of the city. This park is named after General Calixto Garcia, a prominent leader of the Cuban War of Independence. Here you will find a bronze statue in his honor. Calixto Garcia Park is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, with beautiful gardens and shady benches.
Finally, we visited San Jose Park, another lovely park in the center of Holguin. This park is known for its beautiful trees and the Church of San Jose, which gives the place an indescribable colloquial beauty.
