Hi! My name is Marco. I work as a teacher and a tour guide. I spend many years living, studying and working in Halle (Saale). However, in 2023 I moved to Leipzig and I have been living here ever since. Therefore I know both cities very well, and I still call both of them my home. I'll be happy to show you one of these two cities or even both!

Tour description

Are you thinking about visiting the city of Halle (Saale) ? My city is known in Germany and beyond for many reasons: it is the home of Georg Friedrich Handel, is home to one of the most famous universities in Germany and, in general, has a lot to offer in terms of history and culture .

Many tours through Halle are largely limited to the historical aspects. This is not the case for me, because during our guided visit you will not only learn all sorts of interesting facts about the history of the city, but you will also get an insight into the everyday life of the people of Halle. You will also find out what is currently happening in the city in political, cultural and economic terms.

Our tour starts at the Handel monument on the market square and takes us from there to the following places
: Universitätsplatz, Moritzburg, Hallmarkt, Eselsbrunnen, Franckesche Stiftungen and Domplatz.

Have I piqued your interest? Then book a tour with me today!
