Briefly, I am an independent tour ambassador for my home state Malacca, Malaysia. I am born and bred here and the historical belt of the city was my childhood playground. Over the years I have studied and learned on many historical subjects of my hometown. Veteran tour guides have given and shared plenty of their knowledge and advice. I am passionate and eager to show tourists from around the world the heritage, culture, and history of Malacca, World Heritage and UNESCO city. There are so many amazing stories that I wish to share with anyone out there about Malacca. I enjoy meeting and sharing chats with people from around the world and I have enjoyed every tour that I have given in the past and I intend to provide my best to everyone. I wish to welcome all of you to visit Malacca. “Selamat Datang ke Malacca” meaning “Welcome to Malacca.”

The following are the fantastic heritage and historical areas that I’m going explain in detail and I will walk together with you:
1/ The Stadthuys building. The Dutch used this as their government administration office as well as the British and Melaka.
2/ The legendary Heeren and Jonker Street in existence since the 18th century.
3/ The oldest Taoist temple in Malaysia - Cheng Hoon Teng temple built in 1673. Appropriate worn clothing is necessary to enter.
4/ The unique 1748 Muslim Kampong Kling mosque and the old 1781 Sri PVM Hindu temple.
5/ The Christ Church which was built in 1741 and completed in 1753.
6/ The ancient ruins of the old Portuguese church up at St. Paul’s Hill. It is the oldest European structure in the Far East of Asia.
7/ The Porta de Santiago gateway, the last surviving and iconic gateway from the Portuguese era.
8/ The remnants and remains of the original Portuguese Fortaleza fortress.
I may also introduce local cakes, pastries and small meals on what we locals usually have during the day.
I wish to welcome all of you to Malacca.
