Four buildings in the center of Madrid - the Palacio de la Santa Cruz, the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Collegiate Church of San Isidro and the Pontifical Basilica of San Miguel constituted the heart of Baroque Madrid and Hispanidad.
On this walk you will discover the penetrating depth of the mystique and beauty with which the Universal Empire was forged during a century and a half, from its purely Hispanic origin to its Italianization and Frenchification, leaving its very strong mark on the current city.
