I have been a licensed guide of Rome and its province since 2001 and for over 20 years I have been involved in illustrating the treasures of Rome with dedication and passion for cultural diffusion. In addition to a first degree in Political Science, I have a Bachelor's degree in Art History and a Master degree in Classical Archaeology. I love telling the history and art of Rome always trying to stimulate the attention and curiosity of the participants in my tours.
Understand the evolution of the history and art of Assisi through a tour that includes the most important places in the city, an important center of the Middle Ages and above all known for being the birthplace of Saint Francis.
In a dive back in time, through the extremely well preserved historical center, we have the opportunity to appreciate the architecture and art of one of the most enchanting places in Italy.
In order, in a journey that will last about an hour and a half and will take place only outside,
we will visit:
- Piazza Santa Chiara, where the tour will begin;
- San Rufino Square;
- Town Hall Square;
- St. Francis Square
At the end of the tour you will be able to visit, on your own, the splendid Upper Basilica of San Francesco whose interior preserves fresh medieval works of art, believed to have been attributed to Giotto.
