Welcome to the Wonders of Buda Castle !

My tour is a special one : It is full of history and humor.
I have a passion to teach history but I know how important humor is when I talk about history for hours.
( By the way my Hungarian name is Matyas just like the King of Hungary who lived in Buda in the 15th century and was called Matyas the Righteous. During his reign the Renaissance flourished and the world-famous Corvinus Library was built. )

During the tour I share recommendations of museums, restaurants, thermal baths, venues of music, art and wine festivals and many more.

I also share useful tips on how to use public transport to reach the most desirable destinations in the city day and night.

My tour starts from Matthias Church in Buda Castle a minute's walk from Holy Trinity Square.
Look out for the Blue Umbrella.

We walk along the castle district and you can enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of Budapest. You will have a chance to see the world-famous sights of the palace district.
