Let us guide you through the centuries to the most famous places, and some semi-hidden ones that we will discover step by step.
Our meeting point is Piazza Barberini, where the spectacular Triton Fountain is located, a work by the brilliant Baroque master, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, built by order of Pope Urban VIII Barberini in 1643.
We will visit the Barberini Palace, one of the most imposing and significant of the Baroque period. Its construction began in 1625 and ended in 1633. The great Baroque figures Francesco Borromini and Gian Lorenzo Bernini participated in its design.
We will arrive at the spectacular and unforgettable Trevi Fountain , to learn about its history and every detail that makes it the most beautiful fountain in the world. We will continue our tour with more surprises, such as the Galleria Alberto Sordi , the Column of Marcus Aurelius , the Temple of Hadrian , and the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola , where we will be amazed by Andrea Pozzo's trompe l'oeil. We will escape down a very hidden road, Via del Pie di Marmol , to witness the cosmopolitanism of the cults in Rome, visiting an area where the Egyptian Sanctuary dedicated to Isis and Serapis was located. Upon reaching Piazza della Minerva, we will enjoy Gian Lorenzo Bernini's Elephant and the Obelisk that he carries on his back. One of the several obelisks that we will see on our journey, there is no doubt about the " Egyptomania " present in the Romans. We will see the Pantheon, place of all the gods, regal, imposing, perfect... The maximum expression of the glory of Rome. We will end in the beautiful Piazza Navona with its fountain of the four rivers, one of the masterpieces of the Baroque, and we will enjoy a place full of street artists.
