I am an amateur photographer and Airbnb Experience Host(since 2018) who likes to roam and listen to stories of people and try to capture their moments. In my free time, I like to meet new people from different countries and help them in showing Delhi and make them feel the real culture of India. Moreover for me and all Indians Atithi Devo Bhava (Sanskrit: अतिथिदेवो भव) If I get the opportunity to show you Delhi I assure you it will be gonna be one of the best experiences of your life. P.S. - I will not be that tour guide, who will take you to expensive shops to get the commission, try to sell you a Tour through an agency, etc instead of that I will be your Local friend and will save you from all the scams and help you in explore Incredible India safely.
We will start from Hidden Stepwell between the business towers and residential apartments of central Delhi. The old brick walls of the structure will take you back in history and this place is a quiet and serene experience perfect for photography lovers so you will definitely like it.
Then we will get refreshed from Best Masala Chai which you will definitely love. Then will we will walk to the Most cultural and peaceful place in the Delhi-Sikh temple where you will get peace of mind and will indulge in the culture of the Sikh community (most kind people in India) by volunteering inside the kitchen of the temple and after that lunch (Langar) in a big hall with every kind of people from rich to poor where you will learn more about the kindness, selfless and humanitarian service of the community.
After that, we will go to Old Delhi where you will feel the real culture. Old Delhi architecture is spectacular where while walking the bylanes of old Delhi you will realize every wall has a story to tell. While roaming in the narrow gullies of Old Delhi we will try different street food (safe for your stomach) there at famous shops which are running since the 18th century. Food is a religion in this city. The narrow gullies of old Delhi have an overwhelming variety of cuisines to offer which will overcome your cravings for Indian food.
Be ready to dive into a local ife with me.
We will meet at the front of Starbucks or Rajiv Chowk metro station gate number 7.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
