I came to this area to visit some friends and I fell in love, 3 months later I was living here and what was going to last 6 months has turned into many years. Curiosity to know more led me to study and obtain my official guide license or green badge as they call it here, and since then I have enjoyed teaching all this to travelers from other parts of the world.
On this guided walk through Chester we are going to discover the charms of the newly named the most beautiful city in the world. Tudor style houses, the Cathedral, charming streets and even a Roman amphitheater await us. We assure you that you are going to fall in love!
Itinerary:
At the indicated time we will meet at the Town Hall Square , where we will begin a walking tour of Chester , an ideal route to get to know the main attractions of this British city.
Firstly, we will cross the door of the old Chester Abbey , thus discovering Abbey Square and its beautiful Georgian houses . Can you imagine what life was like in a monastery ? We'll find out!
We will walk along the walls of Kale Yard Gate and reach one of the most important sites in Chester, its Anglican Cathedral .
We will continue the tour visiting The Rows, elevated galleries, unique in the world , where it will seem like we have traveled back in time. Its Tudor-style black half-timbered buildings will immediately capture your attention.
Afterwards, we will stop in front of the Eastgate Clock , the emblem par excellence of the city. and we will finish our guided tour of Chester at the Cross after two hours of walking.
